So on to the poll results. I never included a section on the gender of respondants, which I wish I had, although I do know that there was female participation. Any possible bias aside it appears that we all love the shaved look! Most respondants favoured the baby smooth, completely bare look (67%), and 93% wanted some sort of trimming involved in the pubic area. So to the sadist out there who wanted it au naturelle, get yourself a razor!!

Its not just for porn stars, not just for internet junkies, its not just a fashion trend, shaving seems to be what we want. Now is this because we all want to be/with a closet porn star? Or is it just that we like the look and feel of everything from a trim thru to the bald look?

Is this a recent phenomenon, and are we seeing this due to marketing, new found sexual freedom, or a generation that watches too much porn. Its not a new thing, ancient Egyptians did it. The 60's didn't all go in for shaving, yet they were pretty liberated. Waxing and shaving services and kits have leaped into the market, just like how Wilkinson Sword doubled sales in a few months in the 1920's when they released an ad campaign with short sleeved models showing bare armpits. And porn, well it usually pushes boundries to be still fantasy material, but also reflects our interests as a society (otherwise no one would buy it).
I think it just that now days we are more likely to be more open about the idea of sex and its related issues. So we now feel that we can emulate our "heroes" more comfortably, and feel better being sexy.

Now the first thing that you notice is that the respondants are mostly under 21, which as discussed in previous articles is really a good sign of a pimply teenager adding a couple of years. Also all respondants have measured their tackle but only a small number have been having sex, let alone with any regularity.
So we see that while most people want shaved pubes on women, and have little dicks (6 inches, I feel sorry for you!!!), they probably are dreaming of porn while sitting at home in their room, while mum and dad are worried about how much time they spend in there.
To all those serious respondants out there who have lives (i.e. boyfriends, girlfriends, wives, husbands, fuck-buddies) thanks for responding!
